Congress for KidsAn interactive site where students are able to view the basic information of the United States government in a simplistic way they are able to comprehend and use.
Civics Games for KidsThis site has fun and interactive games for kids that directly incorporate civics.

Michigan Geographical Alliance
The Geographical Alliance provides resources to events, workshops, showcases and online networks to keep educators updated with the most recent geographical information.
Owl and Mouse: Maps that TeachThis site has useful and printable maps for students and teachers. It also has maps of every country and State with in the USA including the state's capital.
World MapperStudents are able to view many different displays of the world, with the varying views divided into specific map categories.

CIA World Fact BookThe World Fact Book has information about all the countries and locations, in addition to regional maps and country flags. Also, the kid's page has geography related interactive games.
Peace Corps KidsThis site teaches about world geography and cultures. Students can read folk tales from various cultures and use interactive games to test their geography knowledge. The site also provides and abundance of resources for teachers at all grade levels.

Library of Congress
This website provides teachers and students with valuable information. Teachers can find classroom materials, lesson plan examples and professional development information. Students are able to explore historical information in a fun, credible and interactive atmosphere.
Biography of AmericaTwenty-six of the main events that occurred throughout the development of America. For each milestone, the site provides key events, maps, transcripts (with videos) and a webography using primary and secondary source materials.
World History for Us AllThey have segmented all of world history segmented into nine big eras, and further into teachable units. Also, indicating the foundations of the curriculum, as well as a glossary, questions and themes to go with each unit.

Best of History WebsitesThe content is mostly for middle school grades, ranging from prehistory through history today, with the addition of art history. Also, the site includes example lesson plans, activities and interactive games.
Colonial KidsThis site really allows kids to explore the 1700s from their own perspective as colonial kids themselves. It provides new vocabulary for students in all the familiar activities for kids during the time period.
A Day in HistoryThe tells you about what happened in history on the date you are visiting the website. Students are given new information every day.

EconoclassThis is an excellent resource for teachers who are trying to add a little bit extra to their economics curriculum. This site is full of activities for teachers to do in class to get their students thinking about economics.
Kids Econ PostersGives teachers the resources to make economics fun and colorful. This site has a variety of posters for all the key terms and concepts used within the economics curriculum.
